In honour of Princess Alexia's 18th birthday, Royal Leerdam Crystal and Tess van Zalinge have joined forces to introduce a beautiful new Orange Vase. Only 300 pieces are available, making it a splendid addition to Royal Leerdam Crystal's longstanding tradition. The new original Orange Vase is characterized by its fashionable and graceful design. To continue the Leerdam glassmaking tradition, the vases are handmade in Leerdam.
For the special edition of Vogue 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story', campaigns are developed in collaboration with eight Dutch designers and captured by photographer Jasper Abels. The leading actors of this Netflix series are dressed in the most recent collection of Tess van Zalinge called 'natuurlijk'. Corey Mylchreest fully dressed in this collection, wears the most prominent design, the off-shoulder corset. And India Amarteifio had a custom-made headpiece and finishes her look with the iconic yellow ruffle skirt from that same collection.

An exclusive bridal edition of just 100 one-of-a-kind iconic “Lola” briefs. Crafted from upcycled wedding gowns and vintage veils, the premium briefs are uniquely finished with artistic details that marry old and new. As a “something blue” lucky charm, each bespoke piece has a hand-stitched label in blue thread.
“I love to think that our upcycled Lola briefs are keeping wedding heirlooms, memories and craftsmanship in motion,” says Marloes Hoedeman, Love Stories’ founder. “It’s been inspiring to work with Tess, who has a conscious awareness of her craft, and celebrates sustainability in lingerie."

The 'bridal project' is a unique collaboration between professional salon brand Goldwell Kerasilk and designer Tess van Zalinge. Three couture hair accessories crafted in the Amsterdam-based atelier, each a story of its own. All three are connected to traditional wedding components we are all familiar with; Pearl, Bouquet and Bow. The couture pieces are fully sustainably produced from recycled materials, discarded wedding dresses and remnants from the atelier.

The 'denim for earth' project is a unique collaboration of a custom-made look with an artistic and modern ode to craftsmanship and our planet, launched on Global Earth Day. In creative collaboration with G-star, the couture look was developed out of denim waste from the head office. Naturally dyed with a custom beetroot dye recipe and constructed out of old puffer jackets, the designs were shown at the Moco Museum.

In collaboration with Artis, eighteen artists from a variety of disciplines were selected. Each of them developed a special work of art, inspired by the flora and fauna as well as the history of the park. Tess van Zalinge represents with her traditional yet playful embroideries, the evolution from chained parrots to the flowers that replaced the colourful macaws, grey parrots and cockatoos. The design of the metal mobiles reflects movement, wind and nature. They are developed in collaboration with Artis' traditional smiths. Inspired by the richly coloured flora and fauna that once flanked the lane, Tess brings the colour back to this monument.
Mickey Mouse turns 90, celebrating this milestone with a grand worldwide collaboration organized by Disney. Tess van Zalinge was one of the chosen 18 artists who designed a custom-made couture design, especially for this celebration. With her traditional and playful approach, she merged the international character of Mickey Mouse with her Dutch heritage. Made of traditional Marker costume wear, a constricted corset and a Mickey Mouse bag made of upcycled embroidery rings, the designs were artisanally made in her atelier. A celebration of traditional crafts, upcycling and the birthday of Mickey Mouse. Due to the immense success, all designs were exhibited in a pop-up venue at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.

Awards, Tess van Zalinge was selected for participation in collaboration with Knitdigo. A capsule collection of five looks was made in the atelier with the
innovative knitted denim from Knitdigo. Craftsmanship, prints and traditional folding techniques were keystones of this collection.
